We are looking for a Junior Scientific Project Manager who will offer support in the daily coordination, implementation and management of ongoing scientific research projects, typically but not only EU-funded projects.

ROLE

The Junior Scientific Project Manager will offer support in the daily coordination, implementation and management of ongoing scientific research projects, typically but non only EU-funded projects. This includes:

  • project reporting, tracking and monitoring;
  • risk and data management;
  • communication among internal and external partners;
  • implementation of outreach activities and stakeholder engagement, such as: organizing and facilitating both internal and external meetings and workshops; disseminating information to partners and other networks through different communication channels and tools;
  • support to budgeting, financial reporting and control.



REQUIREMENTS

  • A Degree in Economics, Management, International Relations or equivalent subjects. A Master is an advantage but not required.
  • 2 years of experience in project management in research, policy, or a comparable sector with experience in coordinating partners from different institutions, countries and constituencies.
  • A very good knowledge of Italian and English languages
  •  A very good knowledge of the Office Suite
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamworking attitude and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving attitude
  • High motivation to learn
  • Good in time and priority management

DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
  • The Junior Scientific Project Manager will be based in Venice CMCC office.
  • Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
  • Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
  • Flexible working time as per internal policies.
  • Support during the immigration process, if needed.
