We are looking for a Culture & Inclusion Junior Specialist, capable of managing expat-related processes — including immigration procedures, relocation, and onboarding — while also contributing to initiatives that promote inclusion, gender balance, and intercultural integration.
From supporting international researchers through administrative and bureaucratic steps, to designing and implementing inclusive policies and gender equality actions, your role will be key to ensuring both operational excellence and a culture of belonging across our organization.

ROLE E RESPONSIBILITIES

The Culture & Inclusion Junior Specialist will be responsible for:

Expat Management

  • Provide operational support in immigration procedures (e.g., visas, residence permits, tax code)
  • Assist in welcoming and supporting international researchers and their families (e.g., housing search, healthcare access, school enrollment, cultural orientation)
  • Help maintain relationships with public authorities, service providers, and external stakeholders involved in legal and administrative matters
  • Support the collection and organization of documentation required for administrative procedures
  • Work alongside senior colleagues in handling individual cases and solving day-to-day issues

Inclusion and Gender Balance Initiatives
  • Collaborate in the planning and delivery of initiatives that foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment
  • Support the design and implementation of actions aimed at improving gender balance and promoting equal opportunities
  • Help organize awareness campaigns, training sessions, and internal events on inclusion and employee wellbeing
  • Assist in drafting and updating internal documents and guidelines related to inclusion, workplace culture, and onboarding
  • Collect and support the analysis of basic qualitative and quantitative data to monitor progress and suggest improvements
  • Work alongside managers and research teams to integrate inclusive practices into everyday activities and processes.




REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • University degree in humanities, law, political science, social sciences, or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in expat management, relocation, or immigration support
  • Operational knowledge of Italian immigration procedures and international mobility
  • Fluency in both English and Italian (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills; organized and proactive

Preferred:
  • Experience in projects or roles related to inclusion, gender equity, or workplace wellbeing
  • Previous experience in academic or research environments



DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
 

  • Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
  • The Culture & Inclusion Junior Specialist will be based in Lecce CMCC office.
  • The appointment period will be of 12 months starting as soon as possible.
  • Flexible working time as per internal policies.
  • Support during the immigration process, if needed
 

PROTECTED CATEGORY

Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
Some fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners).
