WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Our Institute for Climate Resilience (ICR) is looking for a new position of Stakeholder engagement specialist, located in Sassari, responsible for Design and organization of facilitation activities aimed at stimulating stakeholder engagement.

ROLE


The Stakeholder engagement specialist is responsible design and organize facilitation activities aimed at stimulating stakeholder engagement, information and awareness of local authorities, socio-economic actors and citizens of public events organized within the project, mainly related to forest, fire and integrated water management topics.


RESPOSABILITIES


The Stakeholder engagement specialist is responsible of:
  • Supporting to the team in:
    • Design of stakeholder engagement activities dealing with the building of resilience and adaptation pathways in the framework of forest management, fire governance and integrated water management
    • Organization of engagement activities, from taking first contacts with stakeholders to running the event autonomously
    • Reporting activities of the events and analysis of the results, using statistical and qualitative approaches
    • Design and realize communication measures in accordance with the project’s communication plan
    • Achieving project results.


REQUIREMENTS

 
  • MSc or PhD degree in sociology, anthropology, geography, social psicology,
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of qualitative, quantitative and participatory social research methodologies.
  • Experience in organizing participatory and facilitation events.
  • Knowledge of the main scientific communication channels and social media
  • Experience on qualitative and statistical analysis software, such as Atlas.ti,  Excel and/or SPSS.
  • Knowledge of content analysis software, such as IRaMuTeQ.
  • Accuracy and good analytical skills
  • Fluency in English


DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

 
  • Based on the duration of the employment contract, without prejudice to any changes in organisation and/or career paths and downstream of the performance appraisal.
 
  • The appointment is assigned following:
  1. internal selection;
  2. external selection in the event that there are no internal candidates, or they are assessed as unsuitable.


CO.CO.CO.
 
  • The appointment period will be initially of 12 months starting as soon as possible, renewable for 12 months additional months pending a positive evaluation. Tenure can be granted from 2 to 4 years after being appointed as a junior researcher;
  • The gross annual salary range is from 24 to 29K Euros, depending on qualification and working experience;
  • Welfare package (for min 12 months contract);
  • Flexible working time;
  • Support during the immigration process, if needed.




Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.

Some fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners).
