We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Science Training Coordination Specialist to join our team at the Advanced Training and Education Center (ATEC). In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of ATEC training and education initiatives, with a strong focus on fundraising activities and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
As a central member of our team, you will help drive collaboration across departments, identify and pursue funding opportunities, and ensure the smooth and effective execution of training and education programs that align with CMCC and ATEC’s strategic goals. ROLE
The Science Training Coordination Specialist reports to the ATEC Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Science Training Coordination Specialist will support ATEC, as follows:
- Supporting ATEC business line managers in coordinating activities, maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and developing new partnerships.
- Identify and select new National, European and International funding opportunities and draft new project proposals, in line with ATEC strategy and by liasing with the dedicated internal fund raising and grant management office.
- Manage and implement project activities within ATEC portfolio ensuring the smooth management, coordination and reporting while achieving its objectives and complying with contractual obligations.
- Organize networking and engagement activities between knowledge holders, researchers, and policymakers – online and in person.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master in communication, political sciences or international affairs
- At least 2 years of work experience
- High motivation to work in a multicultural and high-pace environment
- Proactive Team worker and excellent communication skills in English
- Scientific background is a plus
- Initial experience in Horizon Europe project management
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- The Managers will be based in Milan CMCC office.
- Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
- Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
- Support during the immigration process, if needed.
